God is Calling Us Home. God Will Lead Us Home.
Homecoming is our uniting with Almighty God. With arms outstretched God gathers us Home to Him.
Scripture Reading: God will gather His people from the ends of the Earth and lead them Home.
“See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the Earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return. They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble,” (Jeremiah 31:8–9, NIV)
Reflection. Almighty God is waiting. With arms outstretched. God is waiting to bring us Home.
Homecoming is not just about returning to a physical place, but also a Spiritual reunion with God. The Bible beautifully illustrates moments of coming home, both in this life and in the eternal sense. (November 4, 2024 by Pastor Emily David)
Do we appreciate the love God Almighty has for each of His children? Do we? Let us consider the depth of God’s love. All God’s people, at times, turn their backs on the One who loves us so much. We choose a sinful life over the righteous and holy life God chose for us. We thought we knew better than Almighty God…
