God Created Us to Love and to Be Loved
The Miracle of God’s love. The more love we give to others. The more love God pours into our hearts.
Miracle.
Where there is love, there will be life
Where there is life, there will be freedom.
Where there is faith, nothing is impossible
Don’t be afraid
We can find a miracle today.(Jonas Myrin, Michael John Fatkin, Alberto Urso, 2022)
Reflection. The Creator of all there is and all there ever will be. Created mankind to love Him and to love one another.
Scripture Reading: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the First Commandment. And the Second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30–31, NKJV)
For me, looking up at the starry sky. On a night blessed by a full moon. Gazing up brings God’s love to my open heart once more. Observing countless stars dazzle and sparkle with the glory of their Creator. Standing in prayerful silence. Once more I am in the Holy presence of their Creator. With head bowed low I usher a prayer of thanksgiving. In a blessed attituded of awe and holy wonder. In a position of pure devotion and never-ending love. I usher a prayer to the Creator of all there is.
I stand in a devotional position of amazement and awe. At the sheer beauty and God’s unimaginable power high above me. Humbled at the magnificence laid out before me. I am amazed at the grandeur spread out far above me. I am loved. I am blessed with the wonder of the creations made by our God. I am humbled at the love Almighty God showers upon me in this moment.
Then I take a step back and remember. The same Creator who made all this. The very same Creator who made the stars, comets, meteors and all the rest. The very same Creator also made me. Then I remember God our Father loves me. With a love without end. With a love without condition. I recall where there is the love of God the Creator. There is freedom. My freedom was purchased by the saving grace of Jesus. God our Creator made all there is through His love.
Almighty God’s unceasing and unlimited love is shown through,
Scripture Reading: This verse is a cornerstone of the Christian faith, revealing the depth of God’s unconditional love for humanity. It states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, ESV)
God our Heavenly Father loves each of His people so. God gave to humanity His all in all. Almighty God gave to mankind His one and only beloved Son. God Almighty sent Jesus Christ to all mankind as a living sacrifice. Jesus Christ is the perfect and unblemished Lamb of God. God Almighty paid the ultimate price for His love to all humanity. God sacrificed His one and only beloved son, Jesus Christ our Messiah. Jesus is the blessed Redeemer for all mankind. Jesus is the only way back to our Heavenly Father. God loves you and I this much. God our Heavenly Father sacrificed the One He loves more than any other.
Do we love Almighty God this much? Do we?? Picture this. We are strolling along the street. Taking our beloved dog for her daily walk. Then bang. A horrid car crash. Do we instinctively rush to the scene to offer our assistance? Or do we turn and hurriedly head for home. I pray the first option is our loving and our Godly choice. As a child of God. I pray.
Jesus gave His very life for you and for me. We owe Jesus our very lives. You and I give to Jesus our complete and our sincere love. We follow the love and the example of our Lord. Yes, we tie our beloved dog to the closest fence. We hurry to the accident scene. Not for a second thinking of our own safety. As we hurry to help the injured person. We pray. We pray some more to the Great Physician. With God Almighty on our side anything is possible. With Jesus our Lord working beside us, miracles are indeed possible.
In every aspect of our lives. We conduct ourselves as if God is watching. For surely He is. God Almighty is in His Heaven guiding our every move. With all the love in His tender heart. Jesus our strength and our light walks beside us. Jesus is our teacher and is our supreme Master. Jesus is here to give us the lessons needed. With God we have all we need. With God Almighty and His Son Jesus we have more than we need. When caring for the needs of those around us. We have more than is needed. We have the love of God. We have the love of God to pour gently into their hearts.
Conclusion. Our Creator God made you and me. To love Him and to love one another.
Scripture Reading: Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter 1:22, ESV)
With not a second’s hesitation we meet the needs of all those around us. With all the love of God in our hearts. We care for the needs of family, friends, neighbors and strangers alike. In doing this. We are truly loving God our Heavenly Father. Loving others is the Second Great Commandment of our Lord Jesus.
In doing this. We are mirroring the actions of our Redeemer and our Savior. In doing this we are bringing joy and love into our hearts. As we are pouring love into the hearts of those around us. Our Father God is pouring His love into our caring and tender hearts. We are loved and we are loving those all around us.
Scripture Reading: Do not say to your neighbor,
“Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you” —
when you already have it with you. (Proverbs 3:28, ESV)
