God Cares For All Creation. This Includes You and Me

We look at God’s birds in wonder. Such a glorious melody in their song. God loves us far more.

“Look at The Birds,” inspiring song written by Heaven’s Harmony.

Worries. Anxiety. It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed by them. And who could blame you, right? I mean, look at the world around you. Where’s the off-switch on this thing?! I love what Jesus says about this. It’s as profound as it is simple: “look at the birds.” (Matt 6: 26) What does it mean? I can tell you what it means to me. Birds aren’t afraid to fall down. They aren’t afraid for tomorrow. They live in the now. They live today, not tomorrow. In a sense they are the perfect example of how to trust God. They teach us to trust. Trust the One that has made them, that has made you. And Jesus goes on to say, if God cares for them, how much more will He care for you. You are His beloved. Look at the birds. Take your eyes off of your problems, your worries, of your..(fill in the blank), of yóu. Take a breath and take a look at God’s goodness. He will give you what you need for today. But that’s the thing. It’s only for today, not for tomorrow. Cause tomorrow doesn’t exist yet. You get enough grace for 24 hrs. So if you live in the future, you will have a double burden and the grace for today won’t cover that. (Project of Love, 2 Feb 2024)

Reflection. God, the Creator of all there is. Tenderly provides for the needs of all His creations. We are far more valuable to Him than these.

Scripture Reading: Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (Matthew 6:26, ESV)

God, the Creator. Cares For All Creation. This Includes You and Me.

Let us live in TODAY.

I love strolling on my favourite beach. Especially early in the morning. When I have the whole beach all to myself. Well almost. God’s seagulls also are just starting their day. Noisily, fishing for their morning breakfast of fresh fish. Noisily singing to one another and their Creator. They seem not to have a care in the world. Which is so very true. For their trust in God is simple. Yet absolute. They worry not about their tomorrow. They worry not where their next meal comes from. God’s seagulls. As indeed all God’s birds. Live in TODAY.

As I walk along in peaceful seclusion. I find myself in quiet prayer. I find myself singing quietly to my Creator. A simple prayer of praise is on my lips and fills my heart. For all this beauty. For the sand, the sea, the cliffs, and the wildflowers. Yes! O! Yes, His wondrous and noisy seagulls. I am a little envious of their freedom. I am a little envious of their companionship. They appear to live an ideal life to me. A life where they can soar up to the heights of God’s heavens. Ever closer and closer to their Creator God.

Do you acknowledge and appreciate how deeply and personally loved by the Almighty One you are? As you are hanging out a load of laundry in your backyard. Perhaps? Maybe? A magpie pops by to keep you company. Do you realise what an honour this is? As she sits on your fence. Only a couple of meters away. You find yourself happily chatting to her. She returns your chatter. With her raucous song. This load of laundry can wait. This moment God is sending a message of His love to you. A moment where God is so nearby. You are truly loved. Deeply, personally and intimately loved. Loved by the Creator of the entire universe.

You may not realise it at the time. You are chatting with one of God’s creations. You are chatting with one of God’s magpies. These few moments pass with love. These treasured moments are so beautiful and filled with such peace. Almighty God is in this moment. Almighty God is in this moment as He has never been before. God is so nearby. This moment will be cherished until you step into Paradise.

Hanging out the laundry has been transformed from a somewhat mundane chore. Into a prayer. Into a time with Almighty God. Then your new best friend. God’s raucous magpie. She bids you goodbye.

Almighty God commands you not to worry. Not to be concerned about what tomorrow might bring. Trust in the grace of Almighty God.

Scripture Reading: The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24–26, NIV)

We are so blessed. We are so loved by Almighty God. God not only commands us not to worry about our tomorrows. God makes His light and His love shine into our hearts. Our Heavenly Father not only provides for “us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11, KJV) God fills our hearts to overflowing with His boundless love.

I am taken back to the many early mornings on my beach. Where God’s raucous seagulls delight in the freshness of His early sunrise. I recall their delight in God’s brand-new day. I remember our Heavenly Father’s lesson that today is the only day covered by His grace. I usher a silent prayer to Almighty God. From this moment forth, to leave my worries and concerns in His mighty hands. To lean always on God’s love. To trust always in the provision of Almighty God. In return for my trust and faith in the Almighty One. A quietness fills my heart. A soothing and familiar quietness of God’s peace fills my heart.

Scripture Readings: Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6: 34, ESV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction. (2 Corinthians 1:3–4, ESV)

Conclusion. I pray that this article. In some small way has helped you to leave all your worries in the capable hands of Almighty God.

Lord, I thank you for the countless blessings you have bestowed upon me. Thank you for the love and guidance You provide, and for the strength You give me to face each day. Thank You for the gift of life, and for all the experiences, both good and challenging, that have shaped me into the person I am today. I am forever grateful for Your presence in my life, and I pray that I may always strive to honor and serve You. Amen. (https://www.holylandprayer.com)
