You Say.

You Say I Am Loved When I Can’t Feel A Thing
You Say I Am Strong When I Think I Am Weak
And You Say I Am Held When I Am Falling Short
And When I Don’t Belong, You Say I Am Yours
And I Believe

(Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram, July 13, 2018)

Reflection. Do we at times feel alone and unloved? Feeling not quite good enough? God our Father reaches down from Heaven. Our Father tells each beloved child. We are loved. We belong to Him.

Scripture Reading: Know that the Lord is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His
we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:3, ESV)

God Almighty loves you and me. During the times, we feel totally unlovable. Our Heavenly Father reminds us. We belong to Him; God speaks to our lonely hearts. Telling each child. We are loved. Truly loved.

Through the Holy Word of God. The Almighty One speaks to each of His beloved children. Telling each child of His unceasing love. Reassuring each child of His intimate devotion. Teaching each child how to live a righteous and a holy life. The Holy Word of God provides the necessary lessons. Enabling child to obey Almighty God in all we say and in all we do.

The Bible also provides valuable insights on how to pray. God’s Word teaches us how to spend time with God each day. Making our time with God more precious and more effective. Bringing us ever closer to God. Each prayer we speak to Him brings a new closeness to God our Father. We learn prayer is more than a means of communing with God Almighty. Prayer is our precious key to having a loving relationship with its creator. The more we pray. The closer our relationship with God Almighty becomes. This is the wonder. The is the awesome power of prayer.

Certainly! Prayer is a powerful means of connecting with God. Prayer deepens our relationship with the One who loves us so. Here are some Bible verses that emphasize the importance of prayer and drawing near to God:

Scripture Readings: Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8, ESV)

Our pursuit of God through prayer leads to a closer relationship with Him. (Bing, 14/06/2024)

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:12–14, ESV)

God promises to be found by those who seek Him wholeheartedly. (Bing, 14/06/2024)

We have one ultimate purpose in our life. To have a close and an intimate relationship with Almighty God. To walk daily in the loving presence of the Almighty One.

Scripture Reading: Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8, NIV)

Do we really know how truly loved we are? Do we? Our God has created for us a gift. Our Father has made for us a blessing. Too wonderful for us truly comprehend. Yet this gift is so simple to access and to use. This gift. This blessing from our Creator is prayer. Its simplicity is in its design. We bow down before the Heavenly throne of God Almighty. We kneel down before Almighty God. We speak to Him in honesty and in truth.

It is profound in its nature. It ties us to Almighty God from the moment of our salvation until eternity. Prayer unites us to our Heavenly Father as nothing else can. Prayer connects us to the One who loves us as no one else does. Prayer is a relationship which lasts for eternity. Prayer is a gift from our Creator God. Prayer connects us to the Almighty One a nothing else can.

Each prayer builds and strengthens this connection. Every prayer ushered to God reinforces our relationship with Him. As we kneel before Him in prayer. We feel His love. We feel His presence. We feel His tenderness and compassion. We hear the still, small voice of God the Holy Spirit. We are cleansed of our sins. Through the precious blood of the perfect Lamb of God.

Yes! All this is achieved through the practice of loving and honest prayer. Through the wonder and the love of prayer to God the Creator of prayer. Through answered prayer. In the Holy Name of Jesus.

The concept of praying in Jesus’ name is definitely biblical. The key text is John 14:13–14: “Whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” This concept is repeated a few more times in John 15:16 and John 16:23–24. (Bing, 14/06/2024)

Through prayer. God Almighty makes the weak strong.

Scripture Reading: And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17, ESV)

It does not matter what is going on in our lives. God the Holy Spirit abides within each faithful believer. Jesus’ Spirit resides within each beloved child of God. Giving us the strength we need to carry on. God the Holy Spirit strengthens and encourages us in times of heartache. Jesus’ Spirit comforts us in days of sadness. The Spirit helps when we are laid low. From life’s heavy burdens. God’ Spirit is there for us. Abiding within us. Living within us. Strengthening, comforting and guiding us. As and when needed.

Scripture Reading: “Please give me strength, Oh Lord!” “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
