Flying Without Wings. Our Prayers Fly to the Heart of God
All our prayers fly from our heart. To the waiting heart of Almighty God in Heaven.
Make my Life a Prayer to You.
Make my life a prayer to You,
I wanna do what You want me to.
No empty words and no white lies,
No token prayers, no compromise.I wanna shine the light You gave,
Through Your Son You sent to save us.
From ourselves and our despair,
It comforts me to know,
You’re really there.(Keith Green)
Introduction. God’s gift of love to us. His blessing to us-PRAYER. Unlocks God’s love for us. Opens the flood gates of His love.
Scripture Readings: Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7, ESV)
Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. (Jeremiah 29:12, ESV)
If our emotions are not held back. When true and full faith in our Heavenly Father is shown in each and every prayer. When we speak remembering past prayers have indeed been answered. We, you and I have unlocked the miracle that is prayer. We have opened the beauty which is the gift of God’s love. The true and wondrous power of PRAYER.
This awesome power is unleashed when we put our whole heart and soul into each word. When sadness is spoken through tears. When joy is spoken in songs of gladness. When love for our Heavenly Father and His Son is shared with Him. Shared in songs of praise to the One who loves us so. All prayers. All prayers spoken with many, many words of love and of genuine worship. To the God who gave to us this gift. To Almighty God the One who gave us this blessing — PRAYER.
The more important our prayer time with Almighty God is. The more powerful our prayers become.
Scripture Reading: Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24, ESV)
Prayer time with God, our Father is such a very special time each day. It is a time of LOVE. Where you and I speak to the One who truly knows our heart. Genuinely knows our thoughts. Our Father loves us as no other person does or ever will. The first words we utter to our God. Are words of humble thanksgiving. We thank our Father for His love.
You and I open our heart. We spend many, many moments telling God just how and why we are thankful. For the little blessings. For our family, friends and food. He has given to us so much.
Our Father loves us. Yes! God loves you and me. So, be thankful. Our whole heart sings to God, our praise. Our worship to the One who loves us so. We pray each and every day.
Scripture Readings: I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And will glorify Your name forever. (Psalm 86:12, ESV)But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. (John 4:23, ESV)
Reading of Jesus in the precious Gospel. We see the importance our Lord placed on His time in prayer. At times a whole night was spent in love and in prayer with His Father.
Jesus our LORD, our Saviour, our God found places of quiet and in solitude. He found solitary places to pray with the One who loved Him. It is impossible for us not to see the deep and loving connection. Between Jesus and His Father during their prayer time together.
Scripture Reading: While He was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” (Matthew 17:5, NIV)
For me, for you and for all God’s beloved children. A truly beautiful way to begin each day — PRAY. By doing this we are programming our heart to God. It becomes a loving habit. A beloved instinct. We wake. We pray. God listens. Our Heavenly Father answers.
What is powerful about this small and loving habit. We are unleashing the love of our heart to the One who is patiently waiting. Yes! The Creator of the entire universe. God, our Heavenly Father is waiting to say. “Good morning by beloved child, good morning.”
Scripture Reading: And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us. (1 John 5:14, KJV)
Prayer gives to us such peace. Prayer time with our Heavenly Father brings to our life such comfort.
Scripture Reading: I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33, ESV)
As you and I sit in our place of quiet and in solitude. As our loving and blessed habit of prayer times increase. Prayers to God becomes stronger and more frequent. More peaceful our days become also. Before long, no matter the trials and the tribulations. We pray. We seek God’s Holy and loving presence. We find and we feel God’s lasting and soothing peace. It is a matter of 1+1+1=3.
We seek God + we pray to our Heavenly Father + God sends to us His everlasting peace.
Scripture Reading: Peace, I leave with you My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27, NIV)
Now in this world of hustle and constant movement. These moments of quiet and solitude are so rare and oh! so precious. These moments of love shared with our Heavenly Father cherished deep within our heart. Our prayer time with the One who loves us so. Is to you and to me. More precious to us than, words can speak.
In these precious moments of prayer. You and I leap into the waiting arms of our Heavenly Father. The miracle. The wonder. The love we find. Our God. Our LORD is always patiently waiting. God’s arms outstretched. Patiently waiting for you and for me to find time for Him.
Scripture Reading: Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6–7, NIV)
The power. The miracle. The wonder — PRAYER.
As our prayer life becomes stronger each and every day of our life. Our connection. Our deep and personal companionship with our Heavenly Father deepens. Our love, our devotion and our dedication to Almighty God strengthens with each prayer.
To such an extent. We cannot imagine our life without Almighty God as our focus point. Each moment is spent walking in the Holy and loving presence of the Almighty One.
Scripture Reading: You make known to me the path of life,
You will fill me with joy in Your presence,
with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. (Psalm 16:11, NIV)
This beautiful poem about Christmas. I hope fills your heart with love, Diane.
