Facing Life’s Trials. Holding God’s Powerful Hand
Life brings to us trials. We do not face life alone. We are never alone. Our Father never leaves us alone.
What Faith Can Do

Hope that doesn’t ever end,
Even when the sky is falling.
And I’ve seen miracles just happen,

Introduction. When we reach out tentatively and take God’s powerful hand. Our Father replaces our weakness with His courage. Almighty God gives to us the strength to carry on.
Scripture Reading: For the Director of Music. Of the Sons of Korah.
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1, NIV)
Our day has brought to us sadness and much heartache. You and I are so very weak. We just do not have the courage or the strength to carry on alone. When all seems lost. When all hope fades from our day. When the very light of our heart fades and diminishes.
We hesitatingly reach out for the One who loves us so. You and I reach up to Heaven. You and I take the waiting hand of Almighty God. We take hold of the righteous hand of our loving Father. For we believe with all our being. God’s powerful hand will guide us through our trials. God’s loving light will see us through our sadness and our heartache.
Almighty God’s powerful right hand will give to us the strength to carry on. Our Father’s hand will comfort us. As we reach out and take hold of God’s hand. We feel God’s unceasing love and His everlasting peace surrounds us. We indeed feel we can accomplish anything. Holding ono the mighty and powerful hand of God Almighty. Promising to Him. To never, never let it go.
Scripture Reading: So do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, NIV)
You and I reach up to Heaven. We reach out and take the mighty and powerful hand of Almighty God. Our Heavenly Father is always in Heaven waiting. Almighty God gives to you and to me the courage and the strength to carry on.
With Almighty God, we can indeed move mountains. Reach up to Heaven. Take hold of the mighty hand of the Almighty One.
Scripture Reading: He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20, NIV)
As we reach out and take hold of the loving hand of our Father, God. Our faith in Him deepens and strengthens daily. Yes, our day has brought with it sadness and much heartache. Our faith in God has taught us. It is nothing that God cannot handle.
We step outside into our garden. We glance around at all God’s magnificent creations. In awe and in wonder we stand before creations of love. There among the white roses. Our Father has placed for us. His magnificent Blue Butterfly. Pure magic in miniature.
Then you and I remember. Our Heavenly Father created all before us. And so very, very much more. When holding tightly God’s hand nothing is too hard for us. Our sadness and heartache are forgotten. All we see is God’s beautiful Blue Butterfly. All we feel is God’s love and Almighty God’s powerful hand in ours.
Scripture Reading: Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. (Psalm 50:2, KJV)
What you and I realize as we stand in our garden. You and I are at peace. Such peace and comfort we feel. We feel still God’s hand. You and I realize now. Our Heavenly Father never lets, go of us. This is how much Almighty God loves us. God never, never leaves to face our days of sadness and heartache alone.
Almighty God never, never leaves us alone. Our Heavenly Father is nearby. As we walk daily in His loving presence.
Scripture Reading: It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8, ESV)
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely, I will help you, surely, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Psalm 41:10, NASB)
God’s Holy Word promises to us many, many times. Our Lord, our God never leaves us alone. On our day of sadness and heartache. God Almighty is nearby. God’s Holy and loving promise reassures and comforts us. Our Father is always close by. To encourage and to strengthen us, always.
No matter our past. No matter the circumstance. Our Heavenly Father is always close by.
When we stumble and fall. As we shall do from time-to-time. We bow our head in a prayer of contrite repentance. You and I return once more to God’s loving mercy and grace. Once again, we feel God’s hand in ours. We give thanks again for God’s amazing love. We praise God for His never-ending compassion for us.
