El Shaddai. Almighty God, Your Powerful Love Provides
El Shaddai is more than enough. God’s covenant promise He keeps.
El Shaddai.
Through Your love and through the ram
You saved the son of Abraham.
Through the power of Your hand
Turned the sea into dry land.
To the outcast on her knees
You were the God who really sees.
And by Your might

Introduction. El Shaddai, Almighty God has the power to execute God’s Biblical promises.
Your mighty provider and protector is El Shaddai. Such a blessed comfort to you this is. An Almighty God and a tender loving Lord, this is El Shaddai. Assurance is given, when a loving promise El Shaddai makes to you. This promise God faithfully keeps, always.
Scripture Reading: Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments. (Deuteronomy 7:9, NIV)
Almighty God, El Shaddai is your faithful and your loving Lord. The One who sustains and satisfies. Although this name signifies God’s sovereignty and His almighty power. God’s love for you is tender, kind and so intimate. El Shaddai is the Creator and Sustainer of your life. He breathed into you, your very existence. The very life you have, El Shaddai gave to you.
Scripture Reading: I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7, NIV)
El Shaddai will you hold within the security of His hand through all eternity.
It matters not what is happening in your life. Nothing separates you from the love of El Shaddai. When you walk in humble obedience to the Holy Law of God. Your dwelling place is God’s Holy and loving presence, for eternity to eternity. There is then nothing or nobody which is able to part you from El Shaddai. God’s protective right hand reaches out and takes hold of you each day.
Scripture Readings: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, ESV)
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the One who helps you.” (Isaiah 41:13, ESV)
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. (John 10:28, NIV)
Sadly, you have times of deep despair and absolute aloneness. Times when you fear even your Heavenly Father has turned His back on you. You fear sin has exiled you into the desert of separation from God. Wandering and lost. Fearful and heartbroken. Who do you turn to? El Shaddai’s comfort, love and peace you seek.
Then you recall El Shaddai’s promise to Abram when as an old man he was to father a great nation. At ninety-nine years of age, Abram was going to have a child to his wife Sarah. What a promise fulfilled by God. You reach for your Bible and re-read this wonderful story. God’s covenant promise to Abram fulfilled through El Shaddai’s love. Indeed, Abraham’s child became the great nation of Israel. (Refer to Genesis 17)
As you read of Abram’s promise which was fulfilled in such a miraculous way. You believe once more. Anything is possible by El Shaddai, your Sovereign and Almighty God. You bow your head and quietly pray to Him. Even this small action brings to you, His peace.

those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in You. (Isaiah 26:3, NIV)
God the Creator, El Shaddai. The maker of all things. El Shaddai created mankind in the image of God, in the very likeness of Himself.

He who created the heavens,
He is God,
He who fashioned and made the earth,
He founded it,
He did not create it to be empty,
but formed it to be inhabited —
He says:
“I am the Lord,
and there is no other. (Isaiah 45:18, NIV)So, God created mankind in His own image,
in the image of God, He created them,
male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27, NIV)
Sad and lonely times of my life remind me. Nothing speaks to me more of God and His love for me than nature. Just stepping outside into my little garden gives me the boost I need. Breathing deeply of His fresh air. Reminds me of God’s love and El Shaddai’s promise. My Heavenly Father has not left me. I am not alone. I have merely wandered off and forgotten.
El Shaddai’s gift of love and sweetness to my sad and broken heart. My un-whispered prayer He answers. Then I listen to the gentle tones of His birds singing their sweet harmonies to me. The sun is shining God’s love and peace gently into my broken heart. The gentle breeze touches my cheek, it is a sweet brush of El Shaddai’s right hand.
God’s Holy and loving presence surrounds and comforts me once more. In the Kingdom of God, I dwell in love and in peace now and forever. El Shaddai I praise and thank you for your love and your grace, Amen!
El Shaddai created all there is by His word.

their starry host by the breath of his mouth.For in Him all things were created things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16, NIV)
You step outside on a clear night and gaze up at the heavens that El Shaddai created “by the breath of his mouth.” In utter amazement you stand and pray words of love and praise. Such beauty and wonder stretch seemingly forever above you. God spoke all this into existence by His Word.
All the stars in the night sky. All the birds in His heavens. All that was made, El Shaddai spoke into existence. Each blade of grass in your garden. Every rose in your vase on your dining room table. There is nothing that exists that El Shaddai did not speak into existence. Even the food that you are preparing for dinner, He created. You whisper a prayer of thanksgiving.
A wonder of wonders. You and I are also a creation of El Shaddai. God created mankind in His own image. In the very likeness of God Himself you and I are created. You were created to love God with all you are and with all you have. God, El Shaddai loves you with His steadfast love for eternity.

This to you is the greatest wonder of all. That you are created in the image of El Shaddai, the Almighty God. In the very likeness of God Himself, you are made.
Being created in the image of El Shaddai. Made in the very likeness of God means you are as God’s mirror to all those you meet. People view what kind of God your Father is by your actions and your words.
When you treat others with kindness, tenderness and compassion. God’s love shines through you. By treating others as God would. You are truly being El Shaddai’s reflection. Your actions and your words represent God’s love over all people. By providing care and compassion for the needy. We show who our God truly is. God is love.
