Introduction. This is the day the Lord has made.
May the Lord be praised! Today the sun is shining. His birds are singing their love for Him. Our day is God’s gift of love and miracles, yes miracles. We vow not to waste a moment.
I have stepped into this day with the lyrics of the song, “It’s a new day of the Lord” playing in my head. Yes, it may be God, the Holy Spirit singing the topic for this article. And, what a topic it is! God’s new day. Filled with opportunities, blessings and chances to share His love.
Even though we live at the same address. And many of our daily tasks, mere mundane. When we start a new day with God, what an adventure! Our morning prayer once more dedicates our lives, our day to God and to His service. He and He alone knows what adventures await. Who He might place on our path. Who might need His love, compassion and tender care.
