Believe. We believe. Yes, we believe.

Believe.

Beneath an empty gaze
Hides the need I long to face.
Somewhere between where I have been
And where I’m going, my search begins.

Deep in my veins, I hear a ringing
Of a voice ever calling me on.

You’re not alone, keep holding on
You’re not alone, keep holding on.
And just believe, mm
Believe mm.

Reflection. From the moment of salvation. Till the moment we step into Paradise with God the Father. A voice of LOVE is speaking. Deep within our hearts Jesus is calling.

Scripture Readings: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. (Romans 10:9–10, ESV)

We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God. (John 6:69, ISV)

For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:10, ISV)

Yes! From the moment we repent. From the time we confess to Jesus our sins — honestly and completely. When we ask our Father for His forgiveness. When our Father grants us His forgiveness us. Our sins are washed away. We are cleansed once and forever from all unrighteousness. We are reconciled once again with our Heavenly Father. Through the precious blood of the perfect Lamb of God. We have termed this blessing salvation. We, once more we walk in the company of God the Father and His beloved Son, Christ our Redeemer. Our hearts are then open to the calling of our precious Lord Jesus.

Do we realize how very loved we are by Jesus our Redeemer? Do we??? Do we harken to the calling of our Savior, our God? Do we???

This beaconing from our Redeemer. It is such a significant message!! In each life of His followers’ spiritual lives. We need to learn what it means. We must!!! To fully understand its purposes. To understand the urgency of answering its call. We must!!!

In this article we will consider the implications by which God is calling. The importance this calling has in our lives. For this mission is far more than the moment of our transformation. This quest is far more than a momentary decision. This calling of Jesus. Far outweighs the changing of our lives from sinner to child of God.

This is a lifestyle lived according to Jesus’ will and His Holy purpose. Jesus is calling us to live a life of freedom and a life of God’s love. A life of God’s love shown by the service to Almighty God. A lifestyle of love shown by serving those around us. Serving one another with the love of Jesus. With each action we take. With every word we speak. Taken with the kindness, tenderness, compassion, and the love of Jesus our Lord.

Jesus’ calling:

Scripture Readings: Encompasses a lifetime of transformation. Here are some relevant Bible verses:

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called. (Ephesians 4:1, ESV)

Even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles. (Romans 9:24, ESV)

For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13, ESV)

Remember that God’s calling involves both salvation and ongoing transformation. It’s an invitation to follow Jesus and live a life aligned with His purpose and grace1. (Bing, 04/06/2024)

Remembering always in our lifetime quest. We are never alone. Jesus our Redeemer is always just a prayer to Almighty God away.

Scripture Reading: Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20, ESV)

You and I have not only heard this precious and holy calling of Jesus our Redeemer. We have decided with all our hearts to answer this mission. We also realize this is not going to be easy. For we are now following in the footsteps of our Lord and Master.

Reading of Jesus’ life and mission in the Gospels we see for ourselves. Christ’s life was far from easy. Jesus walked the dusty roads of Galilea for three long years. With His beloved disciples and followers. Jesus wandered. Often tired and hungry. Jesus was a true nomad. With no true home or place to lay His weary head. So, who are we to complain??? When life is far from perfect. Who are we to complain??? Jesus suffered far more than we ever shall. As He was tortured, humiliated, and hung from His wicked and soul-saving cross. Who are we to complain??? Satan tempted Jesus himself in the desert. Jesus was so very weak. After 40 days and 40 nights of being without food or water. Who are we to complain???

Jesus our blessed Lord understands. Jesus understands what it means to be human. Jesus is there to help us every step on our quest. On our lifetime mission to answer His call. We are not alone in obeying Jesus’ call. In our life of service to God our Father. Jesus is always a prayer to God Almighty away. Jesus is this close by.
