I have read and re-read your article - truly inspriing. My new word for today -- "opus" - work of art. I never thought of writing to the world before I became a member of Medium for my oral "images". Yet, when I use words effectively they can transport the reader to realms unknown and perhaps before unknowable.

I agree Medium is indeed "a good elementary school". I am learning new skills and honing old ones each and every day.

Painting Original Seascapes and Landscapes in Oils will always be my primary passion.

Yet, the opportunity presented to me by Medium to have words flow from my fingertips is truly beyond (let me I say) words.

I am aiming to present to the world who I truly am. How simply amazing Australia is in all its glory.

I am not a writer on Medium for the money, primarily to gain fans that will hop on to my ecommerce Online Art Gallery.

I do thank you for your words of guidance, wisdom and inspiration.

I realize now that my Original Oil Paintings is not my only means of communication. Medium is my "opus" canvas for my "works of art". That is, my stories.
