From the Grave Glows God’s Sunshine!

As I write these words of my love for God our Heavenly Father. Soothing beams of sunshine flood through my lounge room windows. Just as God’s love beams into our hearts and radiates through our lives. “The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;” (Numbers 6:25) His “greater light”, our sun illuminates our day and guides our path. His sunshine warms and brightens our lives. Chases away thunder clouds that threaten. His sunshine beckons us into God’s wonderland, nature.

Springtime allows us to enjoy God’s sunshine with her soft gentleness. Wintertime was when we stayed indoors out of the bitter cold and long dark days. Now springtime, our favourite time of the year is finally here. The sun is our welcome sign. Softly speaking tender words of greeting.

Encouraging us to spend time in God’s company. Sunshine warms and accompanies us. We appreciate the glory and beauty of God’s new life springing forth all around us. “For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.” (Song of Solomon 2:11–12)
