Angels Escort Us to Our Heavenly Home
At journeys end. Almighty God sends His Heavenly angels. To escort us, Home. To His waiting arms.
Angels Calling.
The sun, the sun is going down.
All I see is love around me.
You know, what I believe.
Now I see it so completely.
I, I need you to know, that time, time is letting go.Don’t cry, dry your eyes.
Can’t you hear the angels calling, me up? Up above?
Can’t you hear the angels calling me Home? Me Home?
(They’re) calling me Home.(Clifton Murray, Remigio Pereira, Fraser Lyle Walters, Victor Micallef, John Kirland Reid, Michael Stockwell, Barnaby George Courtney, 2015)
Reflection. As true beloved children of our Father God. Death holds no fear. We are reassured. God Almighty is waiting. Our Heavenly Father is waiting to welcome us, Home.
Scripture Readings: “Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.” (Exodus 23:20, ESV)
And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31, ESV)
When he died, Jesus said, “the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. (i.e., to Heaven)” (Luke 16:22, ESV)
We are beloved children of God the Father. You, I and, all God’s children are mere mortals. Our bodies have an “end by date.” At the closing of our journey here on Earth. Almighty God sends His heavenly angels to comfort and to bring us calming peace. This is how much our Heavenly Father loves each one of His chosen ones.
Each one of us is escorted Home by His angels. We are taken back to a God who is eagerly waiting for us. With arms wide open. At the gates of His Heavenly Kingdom. Our Heavenly Father is waiting for us. Oh! What joy shall fill our hearts!
I do not know about you. My dear reader. Let us find comfort and peace from this article. We find such comfort in God’s promise to send His heavenly angels. God sends His angels to comfort us and to bring us peace. As we breathe our last breath on this Earth. Whether alone. Or in the company of our loved ones. God’s heavenly angels bring us the comfort and the peace only God can give.
We pray our loved ones will feel their comfort and their peace also. We believe God’s love extends to them also. We choose to believe God’s love extends to our loved ones also. We place our faith in God Almighty. Our loved ones will feel God’s peace. In this oh! so sad time in their lives.
We have read the few times God has spoken of His angels in His Holy Word. We have cherished these words in our hearts. You and I shall remember these words at our journey’s end. These words also will bring to us God’s comfort and His soothing peace.
We remember we are not alone. God Almighty never leaves us alone. Our journey on this Earth is about to close. We have nothing to fear. God the Father is waiting for us in our Heavenly Home. We are welcomed by our Creator. What a welcome this shall be. God’s angels shall sing a chorus of joy. As we step into the Kingdom of God. God’s trumpet will play. A hero’s welcome this shall be. God’s arms open wide to welcome us Home again. What a welcome this shall be.
Surely, all believers are welcomed with joy and song by God’s angels. Along with greetings from saints and other believers. We are all caught up in the joyous movement of praise and worship. Along with the“dance” of love for the Almighty One. Such joy and love will fill our hearts.
What joy fills our souls. As we walk this Earth. Believing at journey’s end. God’s angels. He will send. To escort us Home. What joy fills our souls. Death holds no fear for us.
Before God Almighty we sing prayers of praise and thanksgiving for eternity. Before the Heavenly throne of Almighty God do we dance? Or fall at His feet in prayers of praise. We worship the Holy Name of our Creator. The One who made us to love and to worship Him. When we have been in Paradise for thousands of years. It will be as only a glimmer. For will still have eternity to praise and to worship His Holy Name. God’s Heavenly angels are there to lead our singing. We remember the moment they were there to escort us Home. We remember. Yes! We remember.
Be prepared at all times. For the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Scripture Reading: For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18, NIV)
We are not alone when concerned about dying before the Second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the days just after the rising of Jesus to Heaven. His disciples and Jesus Apostles also were concerned in this matter. In Paul’s letter 1 Thessalonians chapter four. Paul answers this question regarding “the end times.”
Saint Paul tells us to live a holy and a righteous life. Obeying at all times the Holy Law of God. Waiting each day. As if it were the day of our Lord’s return.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:11–12. Saint Paul tells us to keep busy doing God’s work. Serving God Almighty at all times. Providing for the needs of those around us. Caring for our family, friend, neighbors and strangers alike. In this way. We are always prepared for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Scripture Readings: Unto them that look for Him shall He appear the Second Time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:28, ESV)
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming. (1 Peter 1:13, ESV)
