O Love that Will not Let Me Go.

O Love that will not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in Thee.
I give Thee back the life I owe,
that in Thine ocean depths its flow
may richer, fuller be.

O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to Thee.
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
and feel the promise is not vain,
that morn shall tearless be.

(George Matheson, 1882)

Introduction. If our Heavenly Father loved us as we deserved to be loved. We would not be loved at all.

Scripture Reading: We know how much God loves us because we have felt His love and because we believe Him when He tells us that He loves us dearly. God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in Him. And as we live with Christ, our love grows more perfect and complete; so we will not be ashamed and embarrassed at the day of judgment, but can face Him with confidence and joy because He loves us and we love Him too. (1 John 4:16–17, TLB)

I know. I know. I know all the times I have hurt my Father, God. I believe. I believe. I believe He loves me with all His heart still. Over the years I have learned not to question or doubt His love. Yet, I will never, never, never forget how many times I stumble and I fall.

The many, many, many times God our Father needs to forgive our seemingly unforgivable sins. On God, our Heavenly Father we can completely rely. In our Father’s love we are wrapped and are comforted always. Almighty God loves us with a love that never ends. God loves us with a love that places upon us no limits. We are loved. Truly loved as no other person can or ever shall. We are loved even though we do not be deserve to be. God’s love will never end. Almighty God is always there for us. We can turn to God in all our undeservedness. For God loves us still.

Scripture Reading: Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (John 15:13, NIV)

Praise God Almighty! Does our Heavenly Father truly, truly, truly love us after the many times we have hurt Hims. The divine. The miraculous answer — YES. God Almighty reads our hearts. Our Father knows how very deeply we sincerely love Him. Our Father knows how very sorry we are each time we give into temptation.

The Almighty One has designed a way out for us. Our Father has given to us His most prized possession. Almighty God gave to us His most beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We can be once and forever cleanse of our sins. Then we are free to love God Almighty and all His people.

Such freedom!!! Jesus’ saving grace grants us the freedom to love God with all our heart. Without the heavy, soul wearying burden of our sins.

Jesus’ saving grace. Almighty God’s grace is so profound. So amazing. So wondrous. Our Father never, never, never gives up on us. No matter haw many times we turn our backs on Him. In out doubt on God’s love for us. His love runs deep, intimate and personal for each of His children, always. Never, not for a moment does the Almighty One stop loving us. With a love never-ending and without question.

We give back to Almighty God our lives, our hearts and our souls. Our lives are richer and fuller in love and in satisfaction for doing this.

Scripture Reading: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15, NIV)

How do we truly turn our lives, our hearts and our wills over to Almighty God? You and I reach once more to Jesus our Mentor. Jesus is our perfect example. Our Lord submitted Himself always and completely. To the Father and to His Fathers will, saying,

Scripture Reading: For I have come down from Heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me. (John 6:38, NIV)

Even as our Lord, as our Savior, as our God. Hung on His cruel and soul-saving Cross. Jesus prayed His prayer of submission and obedience to God, His Father. Jesus, God the Son. Jesus, co-equal to His Father willingly and lovingly submitted to Almighty God’s will. And to His plan for the salvation of mankind.

Scripture Reading: And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled himself. By becoming obedient to death. (Philippians 2:10–11, NIV)

Jesus in no manner is inferior to the Almighty One. Submitting to God only to fulfill God’s plan for the eternal life of each person.

The wonder. The miracle of Almighty God’s love for us His love is free. God’s love is always there for us. As and when needed.

Scripture Reading: How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 36:7, NIV)

This wondrous and awesome emotions that overflow our heart. The stirrings within our soul. Almighty God love you. Our Heavenly Father loves me. With His love that speaks. Telling us.

Our Heavenly Father told Israel, while they were in their many, many years of exile. Through His Holy Word, God also is telling us. “I have loved you with an ever lasting love.” Now I do not know about you? This for me, is being loved. TRULY LOVED !!!

There is only one way to know how God loves me: Listen to what he tells me, and believe him. (John Piper, Desiring God Blog)

Feeling truly loved by God. As revealed through His Almighty and Holy Word. Is breath-takingly beautiful. What is such a miracle about God’s love. Is the intimacy. The deep and personal intimacy ins which our Father expresses His love.

Our Father, our LORD, our God loves you. Differently than, He does me. Yes! There may be billions upon billions of people on His precious planter. The miracle of the Almighty One’s love. Our Heavenly Father loves you and He loves me in a unique and such a special way.

You and I loved. Truly and genuinely loved. We are loved by our loved our Heavenly Father with a great and an unceasing love. God is a God whose love for us will never die. Will never end. And is aways there for us. ALWAYS.

Paul calls this a “great love.” And what marks it as great, he says, is that because of it, God came to me in my bloody, filthy, traitorous, deadness of heart, and made me alive. “Because of the great love with which he loved us, God made us alive together with Christ” (Ephesians 2:4–5). Great love made us alive. (John Piper, Desiring God Blog)

We are so blessed. You and I are so very much loved. We have a God who loves us with unceasing and un limited love.
