We are all created by God through and by His love. By this very act we are truly beautiful.

Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. (Kahlil Gibran)

There is no perfection, only beautiful versions of brokenness. (Shannon L. Alder)

Beauty is strangely various. There is the beauty of light and joy and strength exulting; but there is also the beauty of shade, of sorrow and sadness, and of humility oppressed. (Arnold Bennett)

Introduction. Beauty. True beauty. Is not what we display to others. Beauty is the love of God we shower onto others.

Scripture Readings: But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” (Acts 3:6, ESV)

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11, ESV)

Our Creator God made each of His beloved children through and by His unceasing love. Everything God made, He, Himself has said,

Scripture Reading: And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31, KJV)

There is inherent beauty in all God created. Of course, this includes you and me. Let us ponder on this miracle for a while. For a miracle from God, we surely are.

You and I beyond question are truly beautiful. WHY??? We are created in the image. In the very likeness of God Himself. We are miraculously and wondrously made. As God is perfection itself. We are beautiful beyond words. We are the crowning glory of all God’s creations. You and I are God’s Masterpiece. We are the handiwork of God the Creator. From the soil our Creator formed us. With His breath He gave to us life.

You and I must never let the world distract us from God and His love for us. We must never doubt just how beautiful we truly are.

Showing to others their intrinsic beauty in God Almighty. Through our loving and compassionate actions, words and prayers.

Showing God’s love to all those we meet. Is another time when all Jesus’ disciples follow His lead. For Jesus is truly beautiful. Jesus is God the Son. Jesus shines God’s beauty onto all He loves and cares for.

As Jesus our Lord reaches out to the untouchable leper. He sees not the scars and the disease. Jesus, God’s beloved Son sees before Him a creation of His Father. Jesus our Lord, our God, our Savior sees this untouchable as a part of His beloved Family.

Scripture Reading: He replied to him, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in Heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:48–50, NIV)

You and I see each person we meet as a creation of God. Sometimes it takes us a little while to see the inner beauty. But it is our God given duty to see the beauty in each person He places on our path. As we talk to her, we listen. You and I stop and pause and earnestly listen. Then as she opens her heart, her inner beauty unfolds before us.

Listening to strangers on the train is fun. Showering God’s love onto them as we should, and we must. When on a journey. Just chatting to the person on the seat next to us. We gently and softly encourage them to open up their heart. Opens their heart to us. Unfolds God’s beauty.

Their life story unfolds. Their God-given beauty softly sparkles as they tell of family members. They speak of children and grandchildren of whom there are so very proud. Then they bow their heads a little. Their voices soften. Times of heartache not spoken to others are shared. We speak not a word. Only a silent prayer to our Father. As our journey continues. A new friend we have made in the Name of Jesus.

WOW! Now it shows through. This person’s beauty shines as brightly as God’s sun.

True and genuine beauty is God’s light shining through from our heart.

Scripture Reading: Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. (Daniel 12:3, NIV)

Beauty is God’s light in the heart shining through onto all we meet. Jesus is the lamp who shines. Helping us to guide those in the darkness of sin. We work with Jesus to help them back to God the Father. By being compassionate and loving towards each person we meet. Our God-given beauty shines through. Shining the way Home to God’s Kingdom to those we meet.

You and I have experienced times when small and big miracles have occurred. When God uses us to do His bidding. Through answered prayer and the guidance of God the Holy Spirit. Miracles still do and shall be performed.

By miracles. Just listening to a very lonely person. When no-one else does. Making this isolated person feel valued and worthy of being alive. Making this unloved person feel truly loved. Holding your daughter’s hand as she gives birth to your grandchild. Now this is a true miracle. Seeing a shooting star. Now this is a true miracle. God has placed you at the right place and at the precise moment for you to witness His miracle.

Scripture Reading: Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:30–31, NIV)

As we continue on through our journey of faith. Small and big miracles shall occur. Each and every one of them will add to our beauty. Our light of God’s love will shine ever brighter. As it does more and more people will be attracted to God’s light through us. And with the help of Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. More and more people will be led back to the Kingdom of God.

Can you picture what a glorious and wondrous world this would be. When filled with people shining with God’s love and His beauty. When each and every person we met were a beacon of Jesus’ light. Where the darkness of sin was a distant memory. This is a goal worth working for. For the glory of God Almighty.

Conclusion. Almighty God Loves Us. To Him We Are Truly Beautiful. We are all created by God through and by His love. By this very act we are truly beautiful.

  • Beauty. True beauty. Is not what we display to others. Beauty is the love of God we shower onto others.
