Almighty God Loves Us Just the Way We Are
Turn our lives around. With the power and the love of God.
Scripture Reading: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (1 John 4:8, KJV)
Reflection. We find comfort, courage and strength in the belief that God is love.
“For God so LOVED the world” that even I,
Whose sins are the essence of utmost shame,
Can be saved by His Grace! I need not die!
This is the truth: my nature still defames
The sanctity of all which God has made.
Yet, here is the reality: a love
Ideal and divine with the strength to aid
A heart such as mine, too hard to be moved!
Love allows redemption of sins to be!
My heart is hard, as is my mind no less.
Only the Love of God may set me free,
A love beyond what human words express!
Oh God, may love always keep me on track,
