God Almighty is the priceless treasure hidden in plain sight. God is always there. We need to search for Him with all our heart.

Introduction. Jesus’ parable of the Hidden Treasure teaches us to search earnestly for God Almighty.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. (Matthew 13:44, NIV)
How do you and I search for the treasure worth more than words can say??? We approach Almighty God with a heart filled with unquestioning love. You and I approach our Heavenly Father with confidence. With the confidence gained from answered prayers.
How do you and I search for the treasure worth more than words can say???

Searching for Almighty God and finding Him. Is going from knowing about Him. To truly. Truly knowing our Lord. Our Father, God invites us to join Him in a close and personal relationship. With time, patience and absolute faith in God our relationship blossoms.
Finding the greatest treasure our heart, our soul is ever blessed with. Is about searching for it with all our heart. At times we may stumble upon it through our daily Bible study. This would not occur if we did not read God’s Holy Word every day of our life.
Finding the hidden treasure requires us to give up all our earthly ideas and shackles. So, we are not distracted by them. Only then are our hearts truly open to God and His Holy Word. Our very life is to be the purchase price for this treasure beyond wonder. For we remember Christ our Lord paid the ultimate price of His life for us.

Once you and I have found and gained this treasure in our heart, in our soul. Our life is forever changed.
You and I are now a re-born, divine creation. You and I are now a beloved child of God. We now have as our eternal Home the Kingdom of God.

We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19, ESV)
As the farmer in Jesus’ parable. We search and we dig till we find the hidden treasure. We read and we search God’s Holy Word till we truly know and love our Heavenly Father.

God’s Holy Word is God’s love story written directly from His heart to ours. This Holy book is packed full of our Father’s wisdom and inspired revelation of Him. As we daily search His Scriptures. God will indeed change our life. From one of isolation and loneliness. To being a beloved child of God’s divine Family.
We have searched with all our heart. You and I have dug deeply into the sacred soil of God’s Word. We have unearthed our Father, God.
You and I are forever more walk in the loving companionship of God Almighty. The hidden treasure. Is hidden no more. For God the Holy Spirit resides within. We walk each day in the loving and Holy presence of God Almighty.

Our reward for heartfelt searching for the greatest treasure ever to be bestowed. Is eternal life paid for by the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Have you ever considered being a companion of God pays benefits??? Remember God is LOVE. The Almighty hears and answers all our prayers. This to me is a benefit of divine and sacred love.
As you and I take time out from our busy day to spend time with our loving Father. We believe. Oh! Yes, we believe. God’s attentive heart hears our prayer.
Scripture Reading: For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12a, ESV)
Such a wondrous benefit of love, hope and peace this is. No matter how broken our heart may be. Our Heavenly Father hears and answers each plea. God’s ears listen to and responds to our cry. God’s arms embrace our broken heart. Almighty God gives to us once more His warm and soothing peace.
For me the most awesome. Most miraculous. Most undeserved benefit of all. Is eternal life.

Although you and I are so underserving of God’s merciful Salvation. We are called by Jesus, His beloved Son to genuinely repent and confess our sins. “Seek me and live.” Upon accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. The curtain separating us from Almighty God is severed. We are reconciled once more with our Heavenly Father.
I repeat myself. For me, God’s greatest benefit of love. Purchased by the saving grace of Jesus. We are saved. We now live for eternity with God in His Heavenly Kingdom.

Conclusion. It is only by digging deeply in the sacred and divine soil of God’s Holy Word. And through spending much time with our Heavenly Father in prayer. That the true hidden treasure is found.
- Almighty God is the treasure that is hidden in plain sight.
- For it is true God is omnipresent. In other words, God is in all places and at all times.
- But it is only by having an intimate companionship with our Father that He is no longer hidden.
- Two major benefits are gained: All our prayers are answered. We have eternity to live with God in His Heavenly Kingdom.
