Almighty God watches over us. We sing to Him our prayers of praise — ALWAYS!
Reflection. The Lord our God watches over us. We walk in His love and Righteous presence. Our lives are ones of prayers and worship to Almighty God.
No matter where we are in life, the Lord is our light and our strength. He watches over us and stands by our side. The powerful lyrics of ‘Be Thou My Vision’ [below] are the perfect reminder of His love and presence. This 8th century Irish hymn is still relevant today and the story behind the song is absolutely amazing. What a beautiful hymn to lift our voices and sing praises to His name. (GodTube, 2024)
We are so blessed. We are so loved. We have a God who cares for each of His people with a love so deep. Almighty God loves each person so intimately that He keeps a constant eye on us.

We love our Father God with all our hearts and souls. God is the reason for our lives. Almighty God is the purpose for our days. Our Creator God gave us our lives. Our loving Father gifted us our family, friends and neighbours. When a little sad. We have a Father who loves us. Our Father is always here to provide us with the comfort needed. When filled with the warmth and happiness of His love. We have a God who is here to share our happiness. God in His Holy Word tells us to be happy in His love. No matter the time or the season. God Almighty is here to share our love and our time.
In other words, we have a God who laughs when we laugh. We have a Father who cries when we cry. We have a Father who loves us. We have a God who deeply, intimately and personally loves each of His children.

When we were a young child. To share our happiness and our sadness with our parents. Brought such gentle and tender love into our hearts. Just to have them hold us close to their hearts. Was enough reassurance for us to feel loved — truly loved.
We have a God who watches over us 24/7.

Do we understand the depth of our Father’s love for us? Do we? God our Heavenly Father loves when we are busy doing His work. He provides for all our needs. Almighty God loves us when we are resting. He protects us and shields us from all harm. Almighty God loves us as we sleep at night. Under the protection of His wings. There is not a second that our Heavenly Father is not here with us. There is not a moment that Almighty God does not love us and care for our safety. This is how much our Heavenly Father loves each of His people.
There is not a moment we do not love Almighty God. Not a single moment goes by that we do not pray a song of praise to Him. A song of thankfulness for all His blessings. Praise of gratitude for the countless gifts He has showered upon us. Prayers asking for His forgiveness. For the times we have stumbled. And once again hurt Him by our sins. Prayers of hope for a brighter future in Paradise with God and His Son Jesus. There is not a moment when we do not thank God for His love.

The hymn “Be Thou My Vision” has its roots in medieval Celtic Christianity. It is believed that the original poem may have been written by an Irish saint who experienced blindness later in life12.
