O God, Our Help in Ages Past.

Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defence is sure.

A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

(Isaac Watts, 1674–1748)

The Bible is our rule book of faith and practice. If we know and understand the Scriptures, we will be well on our way to having His guidance. He never guides His people contrary to the clear principles of His written Word. (Pat Robertson, CBN Blog)

It is crucial for all faithful believers. To listen to the guidance and the direction. From God, the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit guides us by giving us the words to speak, the thoughts to think, and the desires to act. The Holy Spirit also teaches us how to pray and what words to say. We can pray in many ways, but all are a form of worshiping our Creator. When we pray, we ask God for things that He has promised to give us if we ask Him for them. (Bible Verses Blog)
